Welding Supervision

Welding Supervision: Quality begins at the weld
As the responsible Welding Supervisor, I take technical and quality responsibility for all phases of the work – from preparation and execution to final inspection.
I ensure compliance with all relevant standards and guidelines, including:
EN ISO 14731 · EN ISO 9606 · EN ISO 5817 · EN 13480 · EN 13445 · AD 2000
As part of the supervision, I review WPS and WPQR documentation, welding personnel qualifications, weld preparation and execution, as well as final weld quality, including visual testing (VT2).
Practical supervision is based on a combination of theory and hands-on experience in the following processes:
141 / 142
141 Tandem
14732 Orbital
135 / 136
My experience covers welding of pressure vessels and industrial pipelines – technically different systems with specific requirements regarding tolerances, execution, and quality control.
I work with a wide range of materials, from standard steels (e.g. P265GH) and high-alloy materials such as Duplex, to high-polished stainless steel piping used in the pharmaceutical industry.
If required, I conduct practical welder assessments and support clients in selecting the most suitable personnel for specific project requirements.
Through clear communication, precision, and a structured approach, I ensure that every weld and every component meets the highest industry standards.
Quality is not coincidence – it is the result of responsible and professional supervision.
